WENATCHEE, April 22—The Vancouver Capilanos increased their lead atop the Western International League standings to a full game as they eked out a 12-inning, 9-8 decison over the Wenatchee Chiefs tonight despite seven errors.
The Chiefs scored two runs in the ninth to tie the score. The Caps broke the deadlock in the extra frame when Bud Hjelmaa singled, was sacrificed to second, took third on Jack Warren's infield hit and scored when a throw to the plate was dropped by Wenatchee catcher Les Dalrymple.
Larry Manier went the distance for Vancouver. He gave up 11 hits, struck out four and issued seven walks in getting his second victory of the year.

SPOKANE, April 22—The Spokane Indians blasted out a 13-3 triumph over Bremerton tonight in a Western International League baseball game.
The Indians hammered Bremerton's Gene Chelli with four runs on three hits in the first two innings and continued their assault on Don Ward.
