BREMERTON, May 3—Bremerton's John Conant blanked the Vancouver Capilanos, 6-0, tonight in a Western International League game to make up for a previous postponement.
Conant had perfect control in posting his second win of the season. He issued no walks and struck out three. Len Tran, only Vancouver man to reach second base, was the victim of a fast double-play that eliminated the visitors' only scoring threat.
Hitting star of the game was the Bluejackets' Jimmy Brown. Hal Saltzman gave up a walk and two hits to load the bases before Brown unloaded with a double to clean them. His second hit, a single, accounted for his fourth run batted in .
Lil Arnerich of Bremerton kept his consecutive game hitting streal intact, stretching it to 13 with a double in the seventh.
Tran and Sammy Samhammer were the only Caps with more than one hit.
