WENATCHEE, Wash., April 19—Wenatchee pitcher Chuck Cronin equalled Spokane pitcher John Cordell in a mound duel, but the Chiefs lost a 4-3 decision to Spokane in the final game of the first Western International League series here tonight. The Chiefs won the series three games to two.
Only one of Spokane's runs was earned, the Chiefs making five errors. The Chiefs also earned one run, three Spokane errors contributing to two.
Cronin fanned seven and walked four. Cordell fanned eight and walked five. Jimmy Herrera, Spokane shortstop, hit a double, the only extra base hit of the game.

BREMERTON, Wash., April 19—Held for even terms for six innings, Oakland broke a 2-2 tie in the seventh inning in the game to defeat their "little brother" Bremerton Bluejackets, tonight, 5-2. The Oaks, who have a working agreement with the Western International League club, made an exhibition appearance here before continuing their Pacific Coast League campaign at Portland tomorrow.
