BREMERTON, July 4—Bob Snyder allowed one scratch single as the Vancouver Capilanos shut out the Bremerton Bluejackets 2-0 in the first game of a Sunday doubleheader.
Lyle Palmer blooped an opposite field single for the Jackets.
Bill Reese singled home a run in the first and Bill Brenner connected for his third home run of the year in the fifth.
Snyder walked five and struck out five to raise his record to 11-1.
In the nightcap, Vancouver and Bremerton each had five hits, by the Bluejackets won it in the tenth by a 2-1 count.
